Dick Sturgeon was a prolific artist. Trained in commercial art he only really concentrated on fine art when he was in his forties. His original works are mainly in oils, watercolours, pencil, pen and ink. Sturgeon Publications are compiling records of his work and would welcome any details or information that may be available from any member of the public. It is a major project to catalogue and locate these pieces, but they must be preserved. Any help in this field would be greatly appreciated.
Enquiries are often made regarding the purchase of original pieces. They do become available from time to time and we will try to help both buyers and sellers in this situation. It may be possible to show potential works on the web occasionally, although not all our clients will give permission for this.
